A Letter of Motivation (no more than 300 words) is a letter which accompanies your application and acts as a means of introducing yourself to the programme coordinator and the admissions committee. The letter should contain information about why you think that you should be given a place in the AFEPA programme.  You should detail your skills and explain the reasons why you are a good fit for the programme. The letter should also serve to convince the reader that you are sufficiently interested in the programme to merit further attention and a very careful screening of your complete application package. The letter can also contain a personal statement about who you are, what has influenced your academic and career path so far, your professional interests and where you plan to go from here in the future. It does not need to be a bald statement of facts but it can instead address these questions through anecdotes, stories or by describing somebody you admire in your professional or private life. This element allows you to talk directly to the AFEPA admission committee and to make yourself stand out from among several similarly qualified candidates for the programme.
